Little Mommy

Madison is quite the little mommy. She loves to play with her babies. She is very good at taking care of them and feeding them. She loves to put them in chairs, make them beds, and take them for rides in the shopping cart. They love to go shopping she tells me. I hope that she will be as helpful when her little brother arrives.
Yesterday, we went to Babies R Us and bought a few remaining baby items. One thing was a new garbage can for the dirty diapers (or as Madison say for the babies stinky diapers that Daddy has to change.) She has had more fun getting into the wipes and cleaning everything so that she can put stuff into the new garbage can.

Baby's Room

We are awaiting the arrival of Madison's little brother and we have the room almost finished. We still need to hang up some pictures and wall hangings that match all of the bedding that we have. It was very different doing a room for a boy, but we think it looks great! Madison has discovered a world of toys that she hasn't played with for a long time and she thinks that it is great to play in the baby's room. We will have to curb that once the baby comes!

Cheetos

Matthew and Uncle Jason came over the other weekend when Aunt Rikki had to work. Matthew got to sit with Madison, but he kept trying to steal her Cheetos! She kept telling him no and reminded him many times that they were hers and he didn't have any teeth to eat them anyway. Eventually, she wanted him to move so he would stop grabbing the bag away from her!

Candy Land

Madison has really taken a liking to playing a variety of games. One of her favorites is Candy Land. Russ is such an old man that he has to have a pillow to lay on when he is on the floor and of course Madison wants to be just like Daddy. Madison usually beats him and he is such a sore loser. She typically get the ice cream cone which takes you all the way to the top. She is great at taking turns and trying to only take one card at a time! She also loves playing Curious George and Super Why on the computer! At least it is all educational!

Oh Baby!

My friends Kari, Keely and I are all enjoying pregnancy at the same time and are all enjoying a different # pregnancy. It is Keely's first, my second, and Kari's third!!! We thought that it would be fun to take a belly shot to remember the moment. Notice that Kari's belly isn't very big yet! She is not due until July, but we let her in the shot anyway! Enjoy the belly pictures and I will keep you updated as to the results!

Snow and More Snow

We have had so much snow already this year it is amazing! Poor Madison would love to play in the snow, but it seems that after every time that it snows, it is so cold that you can't even go outside! She did get to go out and help Daddy shovel the driveway, but I'm not sure how much help she was.

Madison and Matthew

Madison is a big fan of her little cousin. It is great watching her play with him. I also hope that it will help her get ready for her little brother coming in March. She is very excited about a new brother, but I am not sure if she realizes that he is here to stay once he comes! In the meantime, oshe enjoys playing with Matthew's ears and making she that he always has a no-no!
